Are you an interim Head of Learning & Organisation Development professional with experience of managing a team? Would you like to work for an interesting marine-focused government organisation over the next 6 months?
The organisation provides data, information, and expert marine advice to the UK government to ensure our oceans thrive in a changing world. They assist partners worldwide in making the best use of the marine environment through analysis and data from seabed to surface.
The organisation is located in south-west England, where the Head of Learning & Organisation Development will lead a small but high-performing team. This 6-month role offers the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. The position pays up to £470-£500 per day (umbrella).
We are seeking a strategic leader to drive culture change and organisational development. The successful candidate will shape leadership, learning, and talent strategies to support transformation and future-proof the workforce.
The key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Culture Leadership - leading large-scale cultural change aligned with organisational vision and values.
* Organisational Development - delivering interventions that enhance engagement, performance, and transformation.
* Leadership & Management Development - designing and implementing leadership frameworks across all levels.
* Talent Strategy & Succession Planning - developing talent pipelines that promote diversity, inclusion, and future needs.
* Learning & Development Innovation - evolving L&D offerings using digital tools and modern practices.

The candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills and be prepared to start as soon as possible.
