Advice and Guidance
The purpose of this role is to work alongside the HR Business Partner to provide an effective service to our organization.
* Be the first point of contact for HR queries such as terms and conditions, HR policies and procedures, and pay.
* Support managers from start to finish on ER matters such as investigations, performance and conduct issues, disciplinaries, and grievances.
* Assist managers with absence management, including arranging occupational health needs, managing unauthorised absence, and handling sickness under the Bradford Factor process.
* Provide and sometimes design training on HR matters as required.
* Support and occasionally lead on organizational change activities such as TUPEs, restructures, and redundancies.
HR Projects
Support the HR team in implementing and delivering the People strategy. Lead or support HR projects as required.
Payroll
Ensure payroll instructions are prepared, logged, and checked timely for each payroll cycle, including contractual variations, new starters, leavers, and benefits. Provide sickness reports for payroll processing.
HR Database and Reporting
Manage and update the HR database, run routine reports like Bradford Factor, and monitor key payroll reports to ensure compliance. Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
Leaver Administration
Conduct exit interviews to support retention strategies.
Other Administrative Duties
Assist with administrative tasks related to the HR function, maintain process notes, and ensure data protection and confidentiality at all times. Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications & Benefits
HR-related qualification or Level 5 or above is required.
