Job Summary
As a Workshop Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, helping to ensure pumps are dismantled, repaired, tested, and prepared to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to develop valuable skills and build a career within a leading engineering business.
Responsibilities
* Assist engineers with dismantling, cleaning, assembling, and testing pumps.
* Assisting Mechanical Engineers on various sites.
* Prepare and organise tools, parts, and materials for workshop jobs.
* Carry out basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
* Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
* Practical, hands-on approach with strong mechanical aptitude.
* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Good attention to detail and pride in quality work.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
* Previous workshop or engineering experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
* Clean Driving License

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
