Scheduler (Repairs and Maintenance) - Hybrid Working

Join our team in Welwyn Garden City for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £26,851 per year, plus excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

About the role: Do you have great knowledge of repairs and maintenance works? Are you skilled at organizing and planning? If so, you will be responsible for providing an efficient scheduling service for our trade operatives, enhancing productivity, efficiency, and customer service.


Typical day as a Scheduler

1. Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance works, ensuring operatives know their daily tasks, locations, and materials needed.
2. Maintain accurate, real-time information on systems regarding customer homes and highlight areas where job volumes exceed resources for appropriate action.
3. Arrange appointments with customers and schedule emergency repairs.

What we are looking for

* Experience in a fast-paced repairs and maintenance team using workforce planning systems.
* Strong knowledge of repairs and maintenance activities across trades, including scheduling responsive, planned, and cyclical work programs.
* Attention to detail, excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to meet deadlines, and multitask effectively.
* Outstanding customer service skills to manage changing priorities.

Job details

* Hours: 37.5 per week, typically 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
* Hybrid role: work from home and our Welwyn Garden City office two days per week.
* Proficiency in technology, including scheduling systems and Microsoft Office, is essential.
