RPC is seeking a proactive eDiscovery Analyst to join our eDiscovery team, part of the firm's Knowledge and Legal Technology function. This is a dynamic opportunity supporting a diverse range of eDiscovery. The existing team is a developed practice delivering high‑quality eDiscovery solutions to RPC's legal teams and end clients. The team supports a wide range of discovery work, including cyber incident response, DSAR, investigations and litigious exercises.

Role overview
The eDiscovery analyst's primary responsibility is to support internal eDiscovery exercises which include Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), file requests, and other internal eDiscovery initiatives. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in this fast‑growing and ever‑changing area. We provide team members with ongoing training from our own experts and via external programmes to help the successful candidate stay at the forefront of change. The team is based across RPC's Bristol and London offices. Candidates should be fully remote or based within a commutable distance to either Bristol or London offices. The role reports to the eDiscovery Manager, who is based in Bristol.
Day To Day Duties Are Likely To Include
* Project management of internal DSAR exercises from inception to completion; being a subject‑matter expert to advise on appropriate workflows.
* Managing competing deadlines—working on multiple projects and tasks across a range of platforms and providers.
* Provide internal clients with efficient review strategies, workflow design, and consulting on the most appropriate technology‑enabled solutions, including the use of AI.
* Undertaking technical tasks such as data analytics, data culling, de‑duplication, quality control, and reporting, with increasing responsibility as confidence and expertise develop.
* Proactively liaising with internal clients to scope, plan, and deliver eDiscovery workstreams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, progress, and outcomes.
* Participating in ongoing training and knowledge sharing, to remain at the forefront of eDiscovery and legal technology developments.
* Being a team player. Working with the team towards an environment of constant improvement: enthusiastically sharing with and helping others, and taking responsibility for aspects of team development such as process improvement, training and research.
* Delivering high quality and timely output to internal clients.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Practical understanding of the EDRM and eDiscovery best practice—desirable not essential.
* Previous experience with DSAR exercises and eDiscovery technology.
* An aptitude for using and adapting technology to optimise efficiency.
* Experience using document review platforms and databases.
* Strong attention to detail.
* A highly effective communicator—both written and oral.
* Well‑organised, efficient, hardworking, and motivated.
