This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and professional Contracts Administration team, supporting engineers and contract managers to ensure the smooth running of operations and exceptional client service.
Job Title: Contracts Administrator
Location: Redhill
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm / 8:00am–4:30pm (alternate weeks)
Annual Leave: 22 days (rising after 2 years of continuous service)
The Role:
Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll provide vital administrative support across a portfolio of contracts. You’ll act as the link between clients, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing dedicated administrative support to a Contracts Manager and a team of engineers.
* Handling calls and emails promptly and professionally.
* Liaising daily with clients, subcontractors, and internal colleagues.
* Scheduling engineers and coordinating weekly workloads.
* Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
* Collecting and maintaining health & safety documentation.
* Supporting invoicing and producing contract reports.
* Setting up and maintaining electronic and paper files.
* Inputting data onto internal systems (IBMS) and updating client databases.
* Providing general administrative support and ad-hoc assistance as needed.
* Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
About You:
* Previous administration experience.
* Ideally experience within a contracts, facilities, or service-based environment but not essential.
* Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
* A confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
