Job Title: Night Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Hours: Full-time 12 Hour Shifts
Salary: £20.70 Per Hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our night team at a respected care home facility in Cockermouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents during the night shift, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor medications and clinical treatments in accordance with current legislation and guidelines.
Provide care planning, clinical assessments, and risk assessments.
Supervise and support care staff throughout the night shift.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Respond to emergencies and provide leadership in urgent or challenging situations.
Ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity, sensitivity, and respect.
Liaise with GPs, families, and external professionals as required.
Requirements:
Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Proven nursing experience, ideally within an elderly care or residential setting
Strong clinical skills and a good understanding of care planning
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Compassionate, patient, and committed to high standards of care
