Job Description
Management Accountant responsibilities:
7. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making
8. Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
9. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the retail business
10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders
11. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with company policies
12. Support the year-end financial process, including liaising with auditors
13. Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
14. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
15. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
16. Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
17. Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
18. Experience with budget preparation and forecasting
19. Ability to develop and implement financial systems and processes
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Amersham
