This role is essential to maintaining and improving pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, calibration, and repair of production and utility equipment. Your work will support continuous improvement and ensure all activities meet GMP, health & safety, and engineering standards. Key responsibilities include: Perform planned and reactive maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of production and utility equipment. Support the continuous development and optimization of engineering systems and processes to enhance performance and reliability. Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in full compliance with GMP, health & safety, and internal quality standards. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during maintenance interventions to reduce risk and ensure continuity of operations. Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions. Communicate clearly and consistently with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency across departments. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including service reports, change controls, and compliance records. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency across the site. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in mechanical/electrical engineering and experience in GMP-regulated environments.
