Responsibilities
* Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D and Value Stream Mapping
* Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to meet stringent quality standards
* Drive defect prevention through robust process controls and error‑proofing solutions
* Support new product development from concept through to launch
* Specify and validate equipment, tooling, and fixtures to meet production needs
* Lead cost reduction initiatives through process optimisation and value engineering
* Prepare and submit reports detailing capital expenditure requirements, including justification and cost analysis
* Support capital projects and contribute to CapEx planning and execution
Requirements
* HND or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial preferred)
* Experience in high‑volume manufacturing, ideally automotive or simila
* Experience leading continuous improvement projects using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D and Value Stream Mapping
* Practical exposure to Lean methodologies and structured problem‑solving tools
* Knowledge of automated assembly systems, tooling and test equipment
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings
* Six Sigma Green or Black Belt advantageous
* Experience with CapEx projects or capital investment planning beneficial
