Project Manager | Rochdale, Greater Manchester | Full Time, Permanent | £55,000 per annum plus performance-related bonus
Our client, a world-class ISO9001 market leader in the manufacture of automatic combustion equipment, is seeking a Project Manager to join its rapidly expanding firm, which exports to over 40 countries worldwide and serves a broad range of blue-chip customers.
Based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, the successful Project Manager will work full-time, earning a competitive salary dependent on experience.

Are you the right person for the job?
Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APMP) desirable
Proven track record as an experienced Project Manager
Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g. Defence, Construction, Nuclear, Aviation)
Strong risk and schedule management capability
Budget management experience
Sub-contractor management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise complex workloads
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Able to chair meetings, drive progress and maintain audit trails
Ability to understand complex engineering and programme challenges and distil into clear solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
What will your role look like?
Maintain strong working relationships with clients and associated personnel
Manage and control assigned project work in line with agreed programmes
Interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Maintain and update all project documentation
Manage and capture Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunities (RAIDO)
Liaise with dependent organisations and stakeholders
Lead assigned teams, ensuring delivery to cost, quality and schedule from design through to commissioning and handover
Manage and update schedules, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans
Report on project progress, including cost and schedule
Manage project changes effectively
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Work with the Commercial Manager to monitor supply chain performance, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events
Drive solutions to complex engineering and programme challenges
Manage sub-contractors
Ensure adherence to Security, Safety and Environmental requirements
Maintain familiarity with contractual terms and conditions for both clients and subcontractors
