* 37 hours per week, working 8:00‑16:00 Monday‑Thursday, 8:00‑15:30 Friday.
* You will be based at West Park Depot, Chelston Business Park, Wellington.
* 28 days annual leave, not including bank holidays.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of tradespeople to deliver high quality repairs and maintenance across our housing stock.
* Inspect completed works to ensure safety standards, building regulations and quality expectations are met.
* Coordinate with other trades and supervisors to ensure seamless delivery of multi‑trade repairs.
* Provide on‑site guidance, mentoring and training to team members to support their development.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Liaise with tenants, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in carpentry, ideally with supervisory responsibilities in housing maintenance or construction environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of tradespeople effectively.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, building codes and technical specifications.
* Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to liaise with tenants, contractors and internal teams.
* A commitment to mentoring and developing team members through on‑site guidance and training.
Recommended qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Carpentry and Joinery.
* Site Supervisors Safety Training scheme (SSSTS) or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
* Health and Safety Certification CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) ideally at supervisory level.
