Essential Competencies
* 17th / 18th Edition Certification
* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card
* National Grid Person – Substation
* National Grid Competent Person – Substation
* EUSR Safety Health and Environmental Awareness – Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 1 & 2 (SCO 1 & 2) – Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 91 (SCO 91) – Gas
* Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
* Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
* Basic computer literacy
* Strong observational skills for Health, Safety and Quality issues
* Ability to recognise, manage and shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
* Focus on safety, environmental and quality issues on the construction site
* Professional interface with all levels of personnel
* Professional approach and manner at all times
* Flexibility during periods of change
* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients and other departments
* Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
