This is an exciting time to join the team in Cardiac Investigations here at North Bristol NHS Trust. The Consultant team has recently been increased, now offering complex device implantation and follow-up, including CRT-p and CRT-d. We hold BSE Departmental Accreditation for Adult TTE, TOE, and as a designated training centre. Alongside Consultant appointments, we have invested in infrastructure, with a replacement catheter lab commissioned in April 2023. We are also replacing our echo machines, with four new GE machines delivered within the last 18 months, and a new reporting system coming online.
We are seeking experienced cardiac physiologists with expertise in cardiac devices or echocardiography.
Members of the cardiac physiology team will rotate through various cardiology areas such as catheter labs (angiograms, PCI, PPCI, IVUS, OCT, FFR), exercise tolerance testing, tilt tests, tape analysis, device follow-up, remote monitoring, and device implantation to maintain skills. Experience in these areas would be advantageous.
The post is for 37.5 hours per week, worked over 6 days, from 8 am to 6 pm.
