Private Client Solicitor – Job Ref: 2114

The Role
In this role, you will manage a varied private client caseload including wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate and estate administration, and Court of Protection applications. Key duties include advising clients, drafting legal documents, liaising with bodies such as the Land Registry, HMCTS and HMRC, preparing estate accounts, and ensuring accurate and efficient case management.
You will also play a key role in leading and developing the team by providing guidance and supervision, delegating work appropriately, reviewing output for accuracy and compliance, and promoting a collaborative, client‑focused culture. Supporting junior colleagues, encouraging best practice and maintaining high service standards across the department will be central to the position.
The Candidate
* At least 10 years' PQE in private client work, confident managing a varied caseload while leading a small team.
* Excellent client‑care skills and strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with resilience to work effectively in a busy and sometimes demanding environment.
* Strong IT skills are essential; experience with case‑management systems is advantageous.
* Exceptional attention to detail, clear and professional communication.
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
* A full, clean driving licence and local residency are desirable.
