Owen Daniels are supporting an established and highly respected engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to support its Longbridge operation and Corporate Quality function.
Operating within highly regulated sectors – including Aerospace and Nuclear Energy – this is a pivotal role responsible for the day-to-day running, maintenance and continuous improvement of site Quality Management Systems and associated approvals.
This opportunity would suit a proactive quality professional who thrives in structured, compliance-driven environments and is confident supporting audits, investigations and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
The Role You will take responsibility for supporting and maintaining the branch Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and customer requirements.
Salary: £40,000 p.a. plus benefits including enhanced pension, healthcare and excellent progression and development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
Management of non-conforming material and interpretation of material specifications
Maintaining the supplier rejections database, issuing NCRs and following up supplier credits and RCCA activities
Maintaining the customer complaints database, ensuring timely review and close-out
Coordinating Root Cause & Corrective Action processes for internal failures, including:
Organising investigation meetings
Initiating structured investigations
Producing 8D reports
Reporting findings to customers and senior management
Maintaining and updating the Quality Inspection Equipment calibration system
Planning and conducting internal audits in line with agreed schedules
Supporting and leading customer and third-party audits, including management of corrective actions
Producing daily, weekly and monthly quality statistics and associated data analysis
Preparing system review reports for monthly meetings including metrics and actions
Supporting and coordinating Annual Management Review meetings
Delivering Management Systems awareness trainingAbout You You are analytical, detail-oriented and confident operating within regulated environments. You combine technical understanding with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities effectively.
