Are you a motivated, reliable, and hands-on individual looking to make an impact in a dynamic engineering environment? Our client is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team in Andover on a long-term temporary basis.
Position Details
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay Rate:£12.21 per hour
Contract:Temporary - ongoing, long-term opportunityWhat You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
Picking and packingcustomer orders with accuracy and care
Replenishing stockon shelves and racking to support daily operations
Recording incoming deliveriesto maintain up-to-date inventory levels
Booking stock and deliveriesusing our warehouse system (full training provided)
Preparing and dispatching outgoing ordersthrough the required portals
Maintaining a safe and organised workspace, following all health and safety procedures
Operating warehouse equipmentsuch as pallet trucks and forklifts (if qualified)
Supporting general warehouse dutiesand contributing to a positive team environmentWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication skillsand a proactive team player attitude
Good numerical and literacy skillsfor accurate record-keeping
Excellent attention to detailand commitment to high standards
Computer literate- able to learn and use warehouse systems confidently
A valid forklift licenceis desirable but not requiredWhat You'll Get
