Position Details
Tuesdays through Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Fridays 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (On Call for weekends). 40 hours per week; benefits available.
Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient‑care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and carries out various tasks as documented in the competency record. Work occasionally requires internal contact with other units to exchange relevant information, and communication with external contacts involves providing factual information.
Education / Experience
* High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
* One year of clinical experience required or successful completion of an internship program.
Qualifications
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
* Alternative qualifications: nursing student or LPN who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework.
* Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
* BLS certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Salary Range
Minimum $17.37 per hour – Maximum $26.91 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held.
