As principal engineer in our building services team, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading multidisciplinary projects from start to completion.
* Manages interaction with clients/ design team members.
* Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring projects meet quality, compliance, and performance standards.
* Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
* Driving innovation and best practices across the mechanical/electrical discipline.
* Contributes to recruitment, retention, and development of top engineering talent.
* Representing Waterman at industry events, builds and maintains relationships with industry colleagues.
What we’re looking for:
1. Significant experience in mechanical/electrical building services design across regulated sectors.
2. Proven ability to influence engineering outcomes and lead design teams.
3. Strong proficiency with MagiCAD, Relux, Amtech/ EOM, AutoCAD and Revit.
