Your Role
We’re excited to invite a future team member to join our Corporate Trust Analytics team as the Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting I. This position is based in Manchester with a hybrid working model.
What You'll Do
In this impactful role, you will:
* Oversee cash and asset reconciliations for assigned funds.
* Prepare the first draft of management accounts for both simple and complex transactions, including trial balances, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets for team review.
* Gather data from source systems and conduct detailed analyses to ensure accurate bookings in the accounting system.
* Collaborate with internal teams to validate transactions and resolve any issues.
* Ensure the accuracy of reports and meet all deadlines.
* Provide guidance and review the work of junior team members.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role.
* Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
