Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills, a smart phone with internet, your own vehicle and a valid driving licence.
We have various positions available from part-time to full-time and temporary cover for the peak christmas period.
Duties
* Safely drive a van or other delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
* Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given and daily support provided.
* Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
* A professional attitude with a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
