Responsibilities
Key Job Accountabilities
1. Working safe in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work
2. Reporting all hazards and act on them accordingly
3. Housekeeping on all extrusion lines, recycling units and packing automation
4. Monitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specifications
5. Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan/targets on each line
6. Operate extrusion machinery and monitor and manage recycling equipment on each unit
7. Ensure accurate data is recorded and inputted correctly
8. Ensure a good handover of information to the incoming operator
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
9. Experience in the operation of polythene extrusion equipment
10. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (min 2 years experience) training will be given
11. Good team working and communication
12. Positive and pro-active attitude
13. Be able to work unsupervised and using own initiative
14. Ability to handle multiple priorities to ensure deadlines are met
