Desktop Services o Provide support for employees with their hardware, software and peripherals. [NL1] [PT2] o Understand the critical needs of the business and escalate urgent issues to minimise the impact to the business and employee productivity. Infrastructure and Security o Provide support to Compute and Storage infrastructure services to resolve incidents, problems and assist with implementing change. o Perform day-to-day activities and checks as part of the on-going maintenance of the assigned services. Ensure that they are carried out in a timely manner and a forward schedule of maintenance and upgrade is implemented. o Undertaking cyber incident response, analysis, and remediation activities. Applications o Provide support to the Business Applications team, including but not limited to components of the Deltek ERP suite. o Provide support to the Project Applications team for Engineering Applications. The training you will be getting Level 3 award as IT Solutions Technician. As an apprentice, you will be supported to attend college (Newcastle) through virtual/block or day release to achieve your IT Solutions Technician qualification. You will also be part of our internal 2-year 'develop your future' training programme and will receive regular support and training throughout your employment. If applicable, we would also support you in applying for professional memberships.
