Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored onetoone GCSE Maths and English lessons aligned with the student's learning profile.
- Adapt teaching methods, pace, and content to support emotional regulation and individual learning styles.
- Help students strengthen subject knowledge, develop study skills, and build exam confidence.
- Establish a consistent, trusting rapport to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals when required.
- Maintain high safeguarding standards and follow all reporting procedures.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
- Experience supporting learners with SEN in a 1:1 or smallgroup setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS.
Desirable Qualifications:
- PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
