The Role: We are actively recruiting for an Assistant Store Person. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing all inventory control related activities.
Responsibilities:
* Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork.
* Work with purchasing, goods inwards, and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly.
* Prepare kits for both internal use and nationwide export.
* Load/unload deliveries on site.
* Use software to organize stock control.
* Maintain all documentation for auditing purposes.
* The role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
* A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Full driving license.
* Competent at driving a forklift.
* Experience in using Sage/Xero stock or equivalent business management software (advantageous).

* Strong time management skills.
* Excellent timekeeping.
* Pride in quality workmanship.
* Initiative to work alone as well as successfully within a team.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and execute effectively.
