🚨 We’re Hiring: Account Manager | Cyber Security Specialists

📍 Location: Altrincham, Manchester (Hybrid – Office/WFH)

💼 Reports To: Business Development Manager

💰 Salary: £30,000 + Uncapped Commission

🕐 Hours: 40 per week, flexible within core business hours

🗂️ Experience: 1–3 years in sales

📈 Business Split: 80% New Business / 20% Existing Accounts

We deliver tailored consultancy, penetration testing, and managed services to protect against today's ever-evolving cyber threats. As we grow, we’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our high-performing Business Development team.


🧭 Your Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to launch or build on their career in cybersecurity sales. As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for a blend of new business development (80%) and account management (20%) — gaining hands-on experience in technical sales, partner relationship building, and customer success.


🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

* Build trusted relationships with business owners, IT managers, and technical stakeholders
* Support our 200+ existing clients and uncover upsell opportunities
* Engage with MSPs, consultancies, and IT resellers to grow our partner network
* Use outreach techniques (phone, email, LinkedIn) to generate and qualify leads
* Book appointments and demo sessions with prospects and partners
* Become an expert in our consultancy and managed security offerings
* Work with marketing to plan and execute sales campaigns
* Track all activity and interactions in our CRM
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, threats, and competitors
* Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets


✅ What We’re Looking For

* 1–3 years of sales or account management experience
* Passion for sales and a strong desire to build a career in cyber security
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and hunger for growth
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organised, proactive, and a fast learner
* Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and internal teams
* Interest in technology and willingness to grow technical knowledge
