Are you ready to lead an exceptional team in one of the UK’s most scenic coastal towns?
Role
Miramar Vets is a thriving, friendly practice based in beautiful Sheringham, North Norfolk, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated veterinary surgeon to join us as our Clinical Director. This is an exciting leadership role where you’ll combine clinical excellence with strategic direction, helping to shape the future of the practice both operationally and clinically.
You’ll be guiding and supporting a passionate veterinary team, overseeing budgets, championing high standards of patient care, and managing a dynamic caseload that includes soft tissue surgery and small furies such as rabbits and guinea pigs. You’ll work closely with our Practice Manager and Area Director, with protected time built into your week to focus on leadership responsibilities alongside your clinical work. Consulting and surgical days are part of your clinical mix, and we’re happy to support any niche clinical interests you wish to pursue.
About us
At Miramar Vets, you’ll be part of a close-knit team of five vets, four RVNs, an SVN, four client care team members, and a supportive Practice Manager. Among our team are certificate holders in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Our practice features three consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas, and a full suite of modern diagnostic and surgical equipment. We’re proud to support Cats Protection and are expanding our charitable partnerships, including future collaborations with the RSPCA.
Rota
We offer a flexible approach to rota patterns, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance. You can choose between a four- or five-day working week, with no out-of-hours commitments and just one in four Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm, with last consult at 11:30am). You’ll also have access to a strong management support network, including an Area Director and Area Support Manager, to assist with operational matters and leadership development.
Location
Sheringham offers an unbeatable quality of life. Nestled on the Norfolk coast, it combines sandy beaches, scenic cliff-top walks, and the natural beauty of the Norfolk Coast AONB with a warm, welcoming community and vibrant local culture.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, inspire a dedicated team, and make a meaningful impact in a coastal practice, we’d love to hear from
