Fixed‑term Position
Fixed term starting 1 September 2026 to project end date of 30 June 2029. Part‑time (FTE 0.4) and annualised (for 10 months per year, with pay divided equally across 12 monthly instalments).
Role Overview
The role‑holder will provide teaching primarily on our popular undergraduate Politics, Philosophy and Economics programme (covering introductory issues in epistemology, logic, metaphysics and ethics). An ability to teach and supervise in political philosophy and/or in wider politics and international relations would be helpful.
Qualifications and Experience
* Highly experienced educator, with evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Specific and current experience of teaching philosophy.
* Experience of working in a high‑quality academic research environment.

Salary
£47,389 per annum (pro‑rata). Specialist and Supporting Academic grade 7. Subject to annual pay award.
