Job Description:
The position coordinates evening patron services and equipment servicing, and provides financial and other operational support services. Provides high quality customer service at the help desk and assists users with research, circulation, library, student support services, and technical questions. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of basic business and writing skills;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of basic mathematical skills to reconcile financial data and perform statistical data collection;
3. Demonstrated considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques;
4. Effective time management and organizational skills to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
5. Considerable interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
6. Demonstrated considerable skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications
7. Demonstrated considerable problem solving and critical thinking skills
8. Demonstrated ability to supervise, train and evaluate a diverse staff and/or student assistants
9. Demonstrated considerable ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making within general guidelines
10. Considerable ability to work well in a diverse team environment, as well as independently;
11. Considerable ability to follow and interpret policies and procedures in performing detailed work;
12. Demonstrated considerable skill working with personal electronic devices such as laptops & tablets, digital cameras, camcorders, webcams
