Cheshire West and Chester Council have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Attendant to join a high performing and busy in-house Passenger Fleet Transport Team.
The role will require professional driving services at high standards taking children and vulnerable adults to school and day centres around the Borough.

What are we looking for?
- Excellent driving and communication skills
- A team player with the drive to provide services to very high standards.
- Flexible in approach to working hours which can vary due to operational requirements.
- Mini-bus/passenger type vehicle driving experience
- Full driving licence, with a category D licence
- MIDAS qualification (not essential as training can be offered)
- Some experience in customer care, ideally working with vulnerable people or in a school or health care setting
- Clean UK Driving Licence
- The position is based in Rossfield Road, Ellesmere Port and/or Meridian House, Winsford and the contracted hours are hours per week during term time and hours per week during school holidays. This equates to an average working week of hour (typical hours are to am and to pm Monday to Friday)
- Experience of operating a tail lift and associated safety equipment for wheelchair access in vehicles harnesses/clamps (not essential as training can be offered)
