Area Sales Manager — Covering Northern Scotland — Based from your home office — Competitive Salary, Car Allowance and Sales Bonus

It's within this successful team at Marley, that we are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover Northern Scotland. The job has come about due to a promotion, and the patch has been well looked after with some great opportunities to make your mark.
Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, influence, and deliver a strong pipeline of projects with specifiers and contractors.
* Negotiate, develop, and implement specific business plans to achieve regional sales targets once specification opportunities are established.
* Promote early pre-tender engagement and prepare/present project-related value propositions and solutions.
* Attend regular meetings across the region and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support planning.
* Balance development of new and critical business opportunities across a wide range of customers while nurturing existing relationships.
* Run the patch with an entrepreneurial approach, developing profitable relationships under Marley's brand.
What you will need to bring
* A commercial mindset with a flair for sales; ambition and passion for sales even if not in the exact same role.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* The ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, strategic implementation, and commercial acumen.
* The ability to support, influence, and enthuse others; energetic with a drive to progress and learn.
* Experience in external sales; exposure to Specification or Technical Sales is a bonus.
* Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop value-added presentations.
* In this regional role, you'll need to live on patch, have a UK driving license and own your own car (car allowance and expenses are part of your package).
