Delivery Postie with Driving – Royal Mail
Location: Ross On Wye Delivery Office, HR9 5BW
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30:00 hours per week, 5 days across Monday - Sunday, 08:00 – 16:00
Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends with one in three Sundays on a rota basis. There is an exciting opportunity to join us and be part of reinvening Royal Mail for the future.
Responsibilities
As a Postperson with Driving, you will deliver in your local community, rain or shine, and provide great customer service while navigating your delivery route. This is a physical role that requires walking and working outdoors in all weather conditions, with occasional driving where required.

* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time)
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if part time) and the option to buy extra leave each year
