Become part of a compassionate team supporting young people with trauma at Attenborough House, a newly opened, purpose‑built residential home (ages 12‑18). The role is full‑time, rotational shifts including early, late, double, and sleep‑in shifts, with pay up to £28,650 per annum plus £46.01 per sleep‑in.

* Support daily routines, activities, and emotional well‑being of residents.
* Manage and de‑escalate challenging situations with empathy and calmness.
* Encourage independence, education, and life‑skills development.
* Act as a trusted role model, demonstrating patience, resilience, and compassion.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment.
About Attenborough House
Opened in May 2022, Attenborough House is a registered provider of care for looked‑after children with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged between 12 and 18. The two‑bedroom property is located close to Attenborough Nature Reserve and is staffed by a small, friendly, and welcoming team who adopt a therapeutic parenting approach.

What We’re Looking For
* Strong, compassionate personality
* Emotional resilience and ability to stay calm under pressure

* Problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset
* Life experience from previous careers or personal challenges
* Desire to grow, with full training and a funded Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare

Important Information
* No sponsorship or support with right to work provided.
* Applicants must have their own right to work in the UK and be able to work 40 hours per week.
