Relief Planner Administrative Assistant £17.46 LTD per hour Contract until April 2026 Full time | Based in Doncaster I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing provider for an organised and proactive Relief Planner Administrative Assistant to join their Repairs & Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting operational service delivery. The Role You’ll play a key role in providing technical and administrative support for the repairs service, ensuring accurate record-keeping, effective scheduling, and high levels of customer service. The role also includes providing planning cover during staff absences, helping to maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver efficient administrative support across the Repairs & Maintenance service Maintain accurate records, databases, and electronic filing systems Act as a point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and customers Process invoices, orders, payments, and documentation to required standards Prepare and collate performance information and reports Raise and complete repair orders using the organisation’s work scheduling system Provide planning cover including: Scheduling and allocating work to operatives Maximising diary usage and rearranging appointments where necessary Liaising with service users and support teams Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Work in line with safeguarding responsibilities and organisational valuesAbout You We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate: Strong administrative experience in a busy environment Confidence using IT systems, databases, and ideally scheduling software Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach The ability to prioritise workloads and support the scheduling of others A practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently Resilience in pressured environments and the ability to work flexibly when neededQualifications / Experience Level 2 NVQ in Administration, Housing or Maintenance, OR 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) Experience with scheduling systems (desirable) Understanding of health & safety, equality & diversity, and value for money principlesAdditional Information Occasional requirement to provide office cover until 5pm on a rota Ability to travel across the borough if needed
