Job Title: Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative
Location: OX18 Oxford, covering surrounding areas in Gloucestershire / North Wiltshire (Field based)
Salary: £32,500 - £34,500 (+ Company van and fuel card) per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time (39 hours per week)
About the Role
We are recruiting a full-time Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative to join our Trades team on a permanent basis. You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard, responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements efficiently and economically, in accordance with current practices, health and safety legislation, and good practice.
By working professionally, respectfully, and courteously, you will deliver excellent customer service, meet objectives, and demonstrate behaviour competencies. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check, with further details provided after an offer is made.
About You
You must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair, and refurbishment operations, or demonstrate equivalent experience. Experience in the social housing sector is beneficial.
A Full UK Driver’s License is essential as you will be traveling to multiple locations weekly, with transport provided.
You will undertake routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs across trades including:
* Basic Plumbing
* Carpentry
* Joinery
* Painting/Decorating
* Plastering
* Wall and Floor Tiling
* Roofing
Experience with Cap and Cove is required. You must ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment under your control and be able to plan, prioritize, and manage your workload effectively using hand-held electronic devices. Evidence of relevant certificates and qualifications will be required before employment commencement.
