Job Description:

The Opportunity

As one of the world’s largest brands, McDonald's aims to be as well known for our people as for our burgers & fries. This role involves understanding the change and training needs associated with a digital ecosystem of employee-facing technology.

As the Change & Training Lead for UK & Ireland, you'll implement HR technology systems and new processes across the HR team and for all corporate employees.

You will support the Global People Modernisation change team, customizing and localizing the global change management approach and developing relevant training plans.

Your role is to drive adoption of new technologies and working methods, helping staff adapt to the future Global People function, focusing on enabling transformation through change management and training.

Accountabilities:

* Support large-scale global solution implementation, including planning, executing, and tracking change plan milestones.
* Carry out the global change management strategy, including defining and executing the market change plan, stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and readiness analysis.
* Develop and localize communication plans, ensuring relevant messaging for each stakeholder group.
* Support training activities, including reviewing and localizing training materials, establishing train-the-trainer networks, and delivering end-user training.
* Coordinate and collaborate across workstreams within the GPMod program, managing escalations and organizational readiness.

Team & Customers:

You will join the UKI Transformation Team and the Global Change Team, playing a key role in shaping McDonald's future for corporate employees.

Your key customers are the HR business and other cross-functional teams involved in the change initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to articulate messages clearly to various audiences
* Ability to build relationships in a matrixed environment
* Experience working with global organizations and applying strategies locally
* Influencing skills and adaptability in ambiguous situations
* Hybrid working model: 3 days in East Finchley office, 2 days remote

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience deploying employee-facing SaaS solutions (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors)
* Experience managing stakeholders in a matrixed environment

Additional Information:

Our vision is to build a better McDonald's, with a strong culture based on our values: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family.

We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can be their authentic selves.
