We’re recruiting for a passionate and organised Care Coordinator to join a highly reputable home care provider based in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ready to progress, take on new challenges, and grow into a future Care Manager role (with full NVQ Level 5 funding available).
The Role at a Glance:
1. Rota Scheduling (%) – Coordinate and manage electronic care rotas to ensure continuity and high-quality care delivery.
2. Business Development (%) – Seek new local opportunities and boost brand awareness in the Bournemouth area.
3. Care Planning (%) – Assist the Care Manager with client assessments, support plans, and quality assurance.
4. Line Management (%) – Support, supervise, and develop a team of dedicated care workers.
What We’re Looking For:
5. At least 1 year’s experience in a care coordination, senior carer, or similar role within domiciliary/home care.
6. Experience with care scheduling, staff management, and day-to-day operational duties.
7. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
8. Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
9. Confident in using IT and care systems (experience with electronic rostering software is a plus).
10. A proactive, people-first mindset with a real passion for care and leadership.
Working Hours & On-Call Duties:
11. Core hours: Monday to Friday, : to : (with a -minute unpaid lunch break)
12. On-call rota:
13. You will take part in the on-call rota, currently shared between 4 operational staff (will be 5 including this role)
14. Expect to cover at least one evening per week
15. Maximum one weekend in every three weeks
16. Additional payment is provided for on-call duties and any hours worked during on-call shifts
Pay & Benefits:
