About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Teacher, you will provide accessible and inclusive education for students, working with numerous support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN
* Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development
* Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
* Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
* Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
* Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
