Children’s EBD Service
Location: Peterborough PE1
Permanent | Full-time Position
Salary : £35k plus occasional sleeps (paid at £55 extra)
3 shifts per week, 8am-11pm (or 7-10)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to provide specialist treatment and care for up to three children/ young people aged between 7-18 with EBD/Additional Needs
The home is rated 'Good' by OFTSED, and provide nurturing and therapeutic care for children to progress with their lives.
As such, we are looking for a Deputy Manager to coordinate a team of staff and liaise with the Registered Manager to provide a reliable and consistent package of care to children across the home.
3 week rolling rota, shifts are long days and occasional sleeps if needed (although RSW/TL’s tend to pick most up)
Roles Required of a Deputy Manager:
* Support the Young People in the home with daily activities.
* Liaise with staff at the home and review/monitor care plans.
* Comply with regulations of the children's home in line with Ofsted regulations.
* Conduct regular meetings with Registered Manager /Care Providers to encourage the progression of the service users.
Experience Required of a Deputy Manager:
* NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare - Essential
* Two Years working in a Children's Residential Home- Essential
* Ability to commit to day shift patterns and some sleeps when needed- Essential
