Technical Machine / Engineering Operative - Early Shift
Location: Ilminster
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent (from day one)

Set up and operate modern, high-spec manufacturing equipment
Maintain high standards of product quality and compliance
Read and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructions
Utilise the company's in-house ERP system to manage production tasks
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational machine issues
Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards related to quality and food/feed safety
Work efficiently to keep production lines running at full capacityCandidate Requirements:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience working with machinery or in a mechanical/technical role
A proactive, hands-on attitude and good problem-solving skills
Strong IT skills, with the ability to navigate ERP systems
The ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player
