Our renowned Client, an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company operating in the North Sea, has a new job requirement for an experienced Well Intervention Engineer to work with them on a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following.
Responsibilities
* Plan, and possibly execute, the plugging of 4 platform wells.
* Apply extensive knowledge and experience with well intervention operations within the UKCS covering platform-based scopes.
* Maintain awareness of UK regulatory organisations such as OGA, HSE, and BEIS with regards to wells.
* Demonstrate working knowledge of UK legislation relevant to the well lifecycle (DCR, SCR2015).
* Apply understanding of risk assessment and risk management principles and practices as applied to wells.
* Desireable: Extensive experience of Platform Based Abandonment planning and operation.
* Possess a valid IWCF Level 4 certificate.
* Candidates with valid offshore certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medical and MIST) would be advantageous.
