Job Opportunity Here's what your day to day could look like: Keeping our site well maintained through general work, fabric repairs across the site. Ensuring our colleagues and visitors have clear pathways, and robust barriers and handrails to safely navigate the site. Maintaining our Engineering workshop, adopting best practice housekeeping procedures. Deterring pests from site, following responsible, ethical, and safe precautions/practices. Involvement with Health and Safety projects, including water sampling. Working at a height where the role reasonably requires, ensuring safety protocol is followed thoroughly. Occasionally, you'll drive a medium-sized company van for supplier visits/collections, assisting other departments, and transport visitors as required. Creating (and carrying out) work requests raised within our CMMS in a responsive and timely manner. We're looking for the following qualities, skills, and experience: Hands-on approach to grounds maintenance, building fabric repairs, and general repairs. Driven by problem-solving with an inquisitive nature. Process-driven approach, prioritising and communicating proactively. Happy to operate across a variety of environments, e.g. Outdoor areas, Factory/Manufacturing/Production workspaces, Offices, and Distribution Centres/Warehouses. Proficient in the safe operation of hand tools and power tools (including pre-use inspection). Experienced with working at a height. Qualification in Counterbalance FLT with Clamp/Boom (desirable, but not essential). Good basic knowledge of Health and Safety principles and protocol, with the desire to maintain this.
