Parts Team Leader
Location: Glengormley
Salary: GBP 32,000 : GBP 37,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 : 17:00
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Team Leader to join a busy and well:established commercial vehicle operation. This is a hands:on role where you will lead a parts department, supporting both workshop and external customers while driving performance, efficiency, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Parts Team Leader
- Lead, motivate, and develop the parts team
- Support technicians and customers in identifying and sourcing parts
- Work closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability
- Drive internal and external parts sales
- Monitor departmental KPIs, performance, and costs
- Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy
- Process incoming and outgoing parts orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well:run parts department
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Requirements of the Parts Team Leader
- Proven experience in a Parts Team Leader / Senior Parts Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles (HGVs, trailers, vans)
- Previous experience within a dealership or similar environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- IT literate with experience in parts systems
- Experience with Kerridge / ADP Autoline (desirable)
- A proactive and motivated approach
