At Mizkan Euro, we’re known for brands that stand the test of time: Branston Pickle and Sarson’s Vinegar are iconic names across the UK. We’ve recently launched a new Japanese retail brand into the UK, and it’s already on an exciting journey across Europe. This is a chance to join the team at a pivotal stage: the brand is established enough to have traction, yet young enough that there’s still everything to play for.
As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll be hands-on in building the brand’s presence, supporting everything from social media campaigns and influencer outreach to inspiring product days with distributors. One week you could be working on packaging artwork with designers, the next, helping prepare for a retail launch in the Netherlands or curating PR boxes that bring the brand’s personality to life.
You’ll touch on three core areas of brand building:
* Innovation – packaging development, artwork, and factory proofing.
* Communications – digital, social, PR and engaging Mizkan colleagues and consumers alike.
* Retail Engagement – supporting the sales team to educate and excite retailers across Europe.

We’re looking for someone who
* Has a Marketing degree (or similar) and ideally some early brand/marketing experience.
* Brings curiosity, energy, and a “roll up your sleeves” mindset.
* Is a foodie, genuinely interested in Japanese cuisine and food culture.
* Is organised and detail-focused but also creative and entrepreneurial.
