Job Description:
Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical client seeking to hire a Statistical Science Lead (Director level) to support drug development programs and individual studies. This role involves overseeing statistical support and outputs, either by leading a team or contributing as a study team member.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure high-quality, consistent QSEG deliverables across studies.
* Provide strategic statistical input for early or less complex assets, including study design and advanced analysis methods.
* Lead or support biomarker and PK/PD strategies, including large or complex studies and marketed products.
* Contribute to regulatory and payer submissions with clear statistical interpretations.
* Communicate data and findings effectively to stakeholders.
* Ensure relevant data sources are available and utilized effectively for decision-making and submissions.
* Support due diligence by reviewing data and advising accordingly.
* Develop, explain, and validate complex statistical methods.
Key Requirements:
* PhD or M.S in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related scientific field.
* 6+ years (or 9+ years with an MS) of experience in applying statistical methods in biomedical research, Pharma, CRO, or Academia.
* Broad knowledge of statistical methods and industry practices related to clinical and biomarker data analysis.
* Proficiency in SAS; knowledge of R preferred.
* Experience with data management and programming processes.
* Experience working in an international environment.
