Teaching Assistant (Year 2 & Year 3)

Start Date: January
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to support learning in Year 2 and Year 3 from January.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in a supportive primary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning across Year 2 and Year 3
Work with small groups and individual pupils
Assist with classroom preparation and resources
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with primary-aged children (desirable)
Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
Have good communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
