Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a background in cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design.
We seek a problem solver who loves challenges and works well within a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products and displays.

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. Our designs balance creativity and practicality, ensuring displays are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Collaboration is key, and you will work alongside 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and focusing on value engineering and efficiency.
* Weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail standards.
* Handling a range of projects from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event setups.
* Thriving in a fast-paced studio environment and adapting to changing priorities.
* Pushing boundaries and challenging conventions in design.
