The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Services Manager (Cyber Security) based within Kirklands, NHSL Headquarters.
Through a Head of Digital Services, the Digital Services Manager is accountable for the day-to-day management of their Service Area, including responsibility for its performance, resources, and activities. You will provide specialist technical and managerial input to the department's strategic structure and contribute to developing the future operations strategy.
In addition to departmental responsibilities, the Digital Services Manager, under the direction of a Head of Digital Services, is expected to work on a range of service-specific and NHSL-wide issues.

What we'll need you to bring
Qualifications
* Masters Degree in a relevant technical discipline
* Formal certification in IT Service Management and Project/Programme Management
Knowledge, Competencies, and Personal Skills
* Extensive knowledge in NHS or similar complex organisations' IT service management.
* Specialist expertise in complex information systems through formal training and experience.
* Experience managing in a large, changing health organisation.
* Knowledge in staff management, development, and cross-disciplinary working, e.g., within a Health and Social Care Digital Group.
* People and financial management skills, including line management and financial oversight.
* Proven success in service improvement, operational service delivery, organisational change, and partnership working.
* Leadership skills aligned with NHS Scotland's values such as partnership working, staff caring, performance improvement, and effective communication.
* Understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Please note for all vacancies requiring a driving licence, it must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
* Broad understanding of health and healthcare national policy frameworks

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours
Location and Working Pattern
Based in Digital Services, Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
