About This Role Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager Location: Wrexham Salary: £30,000-£36,000 p/y A well-established and welcoming private nursery in Wrexham is seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a vital role in the day-to-day leadership of a thriving setting. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care, education, and compliance. You will act as a role model for staff, help implement and oversee the EYFS curriculum, and contribute to a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children. This role is 42.5 hours a week. Responsibilities Support the Nursery Manager in the effective daily operation of the nursery Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding early years care and education Ensure that all children are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted Assist in monitoring and improving teaching practices and staff development Oversee planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework Maintain compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Step into the role of Manager in their absence Role Requirements A Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years Education (or equivalent) Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursery role is essential Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and early years legislation Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A passion for delivering high-quality care and learning experiences A commitment to supporting both children and staff to achieve their full potential About Us Leader Education are committed to providing the highest level of service and candidates to the Education Sector.
