Guest Services Assistant - Sutton Coldfield
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Guest Service Assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England's leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for...golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2023 and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.
Guest Services at The Belfry Hotel & Resort make it their number one priority to deliver an outstanding, lasting impression to all guests arriving and departing at the Resort. Guest services possess excellent customer service skills and identify opportunities to excel on customer experiences. No task will be too big or small when it comes to our guests needs.
Salary
The on target earning potential for this role is 11.44 - 11.98 hourly rate, compromising of a base hourly rate of 10.88 - 11.44 plus a qualified estimate of 0.56 gratuities per hour
About the role
This role is for 16 hours over two days per week, although additional hours are available in this department and others if desired. As a Guest Services Assistant, your role will be to:
* Meet and greet guests upon their arrival at the Hotel, assisting with luggage where necessary and ensuring first impressions are both professional and friendly.
* Ensure all Porters carry out their duties to departmental standards on a day to day basis
* Store all left luggage, e.g. for early arrivals or late departures, in the porters lodge ensuring it is both tagged and secure.
* Assist guests with luggage to and from their bedrooms as required, explaining the bedroom facilities and Hotel services as required.
* Ensure all guests queries and enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently and in a courteous manner.
* Ensure you are fully conversant with all facilities and services offered within the Hotel and the surrounding area.

* Experience working in a hotel or resort could be helpful, but isn't required
